New Year = New Resolutions?

Now that the new year has arrived, I want to know what everyone is doing differently. Jan 1st is a good starting point for some people & not so good for others. My "resolution" is to have no resolution I'm crazy like that

Ooooh!! Your living on the edge there Alex J/K

Me I've never liked the whole new years resolution thing...probably because by the time Jan 10 comes around I've aleady forgotten what it was HA! So I guess I'll turn over a new leaf and go out on limb and say that my res. are....conquer the garage...meaning get it cleaned out, thrown out or donate it. And donate blood within the first month and try to be a gold member for twenty ten!! I'll keep you posted on how i'm doing. Since I posted it maybe it will get me motivated!

I like your style! My wife donates blood every chance she gets. Im just too afraid of the needles (yes I am a wimp! and I dont like snakes or other slimy animals either... what a wuss!)

Good luck with your reasonable goals!! I'll root you on along the way

Go Diana! GO!

Okay so I did one out of the two new year resolutions out of the way. I donated blood a couple of days after my birthday. I am slowly working on my second one which is to clean out the garage. I just need to drop off all old clothes to the donation center and a family is suppose to pick up some furniture. It's been raining so they haven't been able to get it. Once I get that out the way I can get some shelves and start organizing. I'd probably get some more done if I wasn't posting huh?

Haha!! I'll keep that excuse in the chamber when I need to use, I go back for another donation in March. So if it's hot weather for sure that will be used! The garage has to get done before the summer weather, cause there is NO way I'm doing that when it's freakin' 110 heat index....NO WAY!!!

Okay so already made the arrangements for the family to pick up the furniture on Thursday. So far it looks like my garage will be clean before summer! I just can't wait to get rid of things cluttering up my house, if only my hubby would get on board that would be sweet! He is a pack rat and it drives me insane!! He likes to save everybox and very paper that ever crosses his path!! Can't wait to conquer that garage because he's got crap in there that he forgot he had! So as soon as the family picks up that stuff, all papers and boxes is bye bye!!! I am the opposite of a hoarder!!

sounds like he has a hard time letting things go. I used to be that way but I quickly realized that those things mean nothing... they only hold you back.. especially when you want to move.

Well, he is really overly cautious about things like if something messes up with a product, keep the box. Or you never know when you might need an old bill but GEEZ come on there is stuff in there since 2001!! I think it's time to shred and forget it. I understand the saving the box but I think after a few years, we can throw it away :-D

So far so good! I am nearly at the end of completing my new years resolution!! Woohoo!! I have already dropped off tons of clothes at the good will. Like 10 bags full. Next I need to start throwing everything out of the garage and begin cleaning it out. I've got to get it done before summer and then it's hot as hell!

After throwing stuff away I will, get some shelves and start organizing it all! Can't wait for that part because it seems like the easier part. I'm dragging my feet a little on the going through all the stuff because that more time consuming.
