Lefty Joe is an original one of a kind Chicano artist that resides in Los Angeles. On a recent visit to Los Angeles we had the opportunity to spend some time with Joe Torres aka "Lefty Joe" as he was preparing for an art exhibit that some of his art was to be displayed in. What strikes you when you see the art work he creates is that it is unlike any other modern cartoon impressionism you have ever laid eyes on. His work is simply ORIGINAL to the fullest power.

Lefty Joe first hit the art scene as an illustrator for several books and moved on to graphic design, 2d traditional animation, and most recently teaming up with a clothing line that features his exotic characters that only his creative juices can brew up. I must note that in spending the time we had with Joe we here at Latismo saw his humble nature and true passion that he has for art. Give him a pencil, a paint brush, or any tool to draw with and he will create on the fly. Thanks Joe and we will see what you are up too soon.
