Danny Salazar Acústico Performance

Danny Salazar Acustico

Latismo first heard of Daniel Salazar and his music early this year and invited him to come to the studio for an interview. Arriving after a 13 hour drive from Nashville, Tennessee to Houston, Texas his fans waited at the studio for his much anticipated arrival in hopes of hearing his acoustic performance the song "Reach for the Sky".  As Danny Salazar entered the studio he was greeted with hugs from fans and well wishes for his newly debuted album "Live in Music City" by his band Danny Salazar y Trova Urbana. As people took seats around him the producer and team of videographers began to put the final touches on setting up the "Acústico" segment that would debute exclusively on the soon to be launch Latismo website. Danny Salazar has created a song called "Reach the Sky" that is a song he feels started it all for him. This song was one of the first songs that he wrote and has simple lyrics but the message often very easy for the masses to relate to. "Reach for the Sky" is a Cumbia Raggae mix with a message straight from the heart. As the first chord hit the crowd took a deep breath and sank into their seats for a song that had so much energy that you could not help requesting it a second time. After the second time he played it the crowd was quick to ask for him to play other favorites such as "Ay, Chaparrita!" and "Cuando" and as the night went on Danny Salazar filled each and every fans request. Watching Danny Salazar play it was easy to see and sense that he was much more then a musician out on a gig, instead he was doing what he loves.

Latismo.com will be watching Danny Salazar and his music career, but mush more then that we will stay in touch with our new friend and wish him well in all of his future engagements and life.
