The Crazies

Crazy is exactly how I looked jumping a foot out of my seat and clawing my boyfriend due to having the bejeezez scared out of me by the film The Crazies. I have been waiting since last October for this movie to come out. When I saw the previews I jumped on line to see the release date and have been counting down the days! I was hanging on the edge of my seat from the beginnings. The film goes right into the scary and immediately you are  tossed in to a nightmare that is so close to reality your mind runs away even further with fear!

The "crazies" have a scary look to them with so much detail to their rotten faces you cant help but to cringe while looking at them. The intentions they have rattle you to the core and you think how can a person do this under any circumstance. I was twiddling my thumbs and so nervous to what would happen next. There was no time for popcorn and pickle, I was sucked onto this land of freaks and plotting an escape along side the characters.

Timothy Olyphant plays a butt kicking sheriff that's not going down without a fight. Olyphant began his film debut in 1999 Doug liman's Go as a fast talking drug dealer. He attended The University of California working in theater and landing a role in 1996's first wives club following was 1997's Scream, When Trumpets Fade 1998. Olyphants latest role in The Perfect Getaway 2009 was convinting and shocking. Acting along side of Mila Jovovich, Hillary Swank and Stephen Zahn the couples go on a vacation that turns into a roller coaster nightmare. 2008 Olyphant performed in Meet Bill was hilarious and has become one of my favorite movies. Radha Mitchell plays Olyphant's wife in The Crazies. Mitchell has a soft side and elegance it shows beautifully on screen even as she is kicking monster butt.

Bottom line this movie is a got to see flick! Full of action, horror and chilling scenes that make you jump out of your skin! I loved how I was so consumed by the film even though i had a fellow movie watcher constantly clap and shout at the film almost making me throw my chancla at him, but other than that it was an awesome experience. It hit a nerve and makes you think, could this really happen? So check The Crazies out as soon as you can because it is a film you want to see in the theater.
